Troubleshooting the Batteries

Steps for solving battery issues

If there is a battery issue the system will display that battery in red on the quickview and the detailed view.

1. Offline (All batteries)
Check the batteries serial communication
cable connections by looking at the USB to computer and cat5 to the batteries.

2. Breaker Tripped  (Possible scenarios)
- Breaker has been physically turned off.

- Breaker tripped due to overload.

- There is a problem with the battery.

 If you DID NOT turn it off or NEGLECTED to turn it on... Contact HCI Energy
 

3. Battery Missing
Indicates the system is not recognizing the battery.

- Check the serial communication cable connection
- Confirm the breaker is on and the pack status led is on & “green".

 If the first 2 items are true and the problem still exist after you confirmed the steps above

  It is normal to see a mix of charge floating and discharging among the batteries.
