Power On/Off Procedure

The Power On Sequence in 6 Simple Steps

Step-1:
Batteries- 
Switch the battery circuit breaker ON, one battery at a time.

 

 

Step-2:
Hold down one of the battery buttons until the SOC pack status light illuminates on the right side of the battery.



The Power On Sequence in 6 Simple Steps

Allow 2 minutes after step 2 to warm up before moving on to Step 3.

Step-3:
At the top of the module, open the door by unscrewing the knobs at the top left and right corners.

Turn ON each circuit one at a time.

The SCM MODULE will automatically power on. Both LEDs will light up.

If not, simply press the red power button on the SCM as shown below.


Step-5:
THE ALARM module is located the rear of the tower.

CONFIRM the module is powered on and no alarms are displayed.

Step-6:
POWER CONVERTER: 
CONFIRM that ALL modules have powered on as indicated by 3 green lights on the front top left side of the module. 

If not illuminated, wait five minutes.

No indicator light: Contact HCI Energy.
NOTICE:
If Power Converters modules or Alarm Module do not power on, or display amber or red alarms, SEE Troubleshooting Power converters

 To Turn OFF:
 The Power OFF Sequence in 6 Simple Steps
 WARNING:
Do not attempt to power off the system/modules/batteries once the system has been commissioned. Attempting to turn off the system without proper guidance from HCI will void the warranty.

At the top of the module, open the door
by unscrewing the knobs at the top left and right corners.

Step 2:
Turn OFF all circuits one at a time

 Step 3: ALARM MODULE:
In the rear of the module, Confirm the alarm module is OFF. 
Step 3: ALARM MODULE: In the rear of the module, Confirm the alarm module is OFF. 
 Step 4: POWER CONVERTER 
Confirm All modules have powered OFF indicated by NO LIGHTS or fan noise.
 

 Step 5: BATTERIES
Switch the battery circuit breaker to OFF, one battery at a time.

 

 Step 6: Press and hold “Power Button”
until “SOC Pack Status” light changes color. 

Once the light changes color, release the power button and lights will shut off. 

Repeat for each battery until ALL batteries are turned off.
