KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – March 26, 2025 — HCI Energy LLC today announced the appointment of Scott Tampke as Vice President of Sales and Rebecca MacLeod as Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening the company's leadership team to support its expanding product line and business growth.
Scott Tampke brings extensive experience in energy, product innovation, and software-as-a-service (SaaS). At HCI Energy, he will lead sales efforts while collaborating with the leadership team to expand the company’s product offerings to align with customer needs. Before joining HCI Energy, Scott played a pivotal role in accelerating revenue and forging strategic partnerships at multiple energy companies. Most recently, he co-founded Perceptive Power Infrastructure, an energy provider focused on rural America. His previous leadership roles also include serving as Director of Renewable Energy Business Development at Black & Veatch and Chief Sales Officer at Elecsys Corporation.
Rebecca MacLeod, previously a strategic advisor and consultant for HCI Energy, brings a proven track record of accelerating brand awareness, revenue, and customer traction for early-stage and growing companies. In her new role as Chief Marketing Officer, she will oversee marketing strategy, brand positioning, and go-to-market initiatives to drive business growth. Rebecca has over two decades of experience in clean energy, telecom, software, and technology innovation, with prior experience at T-Mobile, First Mode (acquired by Anglo American), Planetary Resources, Microsoft, Planetary Power, TSRI, Shell, and Cisco Systems.

Scott and Rebecca are succeeding Heather Wilkins, Chief Commercial Officer and VP of Sales and Marketing. Heather was with HCI Energy for two years and was instrumental in advancing the company’s market position in the telecom industry and enhancing HCI sales operations.
