Urgent Communications recently interviewed the HCI team to explore how advancements in hybrid power solutions are supporting the public safety sector. “A lot of times, the most optimal sites were not able to be considered, because they were off-grid or were too expensive to run power to them,” CEO Joe Kessinger said during an interview with Urgent Communications. “The alternative was an inefficient and non-environmentally-friendly generator running 24x7 [24 hours, 7 days per week].
“...[now we're] able to put power in sites that were either previously unreliable or not economically feasible. This reduces maintenance and operational costs. It reduces the generator time substantially—by almost 94%.”
